This is my ongoing exploration of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six series, played in release order, where I will chronicle my playthrough like a text-based Let’s Play. ![]() Without further ado, I present Rainbow Six Diaries Part One. I tried changing the key combination, but that didn’t work - so you may notice that none of the screenshots in the following parts have any action in them. Finally, I came to the realisation that Win+Alt+Print Screen will save a local screenshot of your active game window. I tried running DXWnd through Steam, but the Steam overlay doesn’t work through it. GOG Galaxy doesn’t have screenshots working on a ton of games, plus DXWnd probably interfered with it. The controls were daunting at first, but after taking some time to look at them properly, they made sense. I also made sure to read the entire manual before even getting the game working with DXWnd. I soon discovered that there are no mods for Rainbow Six (not this one, at least), so I had to make do with the original graphics. It’s really hard to get a proper search going for the first game… Why was it so difficult to find? Well, turns out that whenever you Google “Rainbow Six”, it gives you every result for Rainbow Six Siege, then some for the other games. I managed to find a GOG forum thread explaining how to use a program called DXWnd to get it running. Now, if you own Rainbow Six, you’ll know it’s a hassle to get running properly on modern PCs. Rainbow Six Rogue Spear had to be a physical copy, but Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six is available on GOG, so during a recent sale I bought it with the sole intention of writing this article series. Yes, I’ve played all of the numbered single-player Final Fantasys - though not finished them.īut we’re here for Rainbow Six, which I bought the series of on Steam three years ago (except for the original and the second). He is now a most subscribed YouTuber, but he’s not the most subscribed channel. Mr.Beast even has his own restaurant that helped him notoriety. He created a life version of the Squid Games, has thousands of people participate in stupid contests, and more. Beast has gained huge popularity in the last few years by merely giving away a lot of money or simply creating elaborate events. ![]() Mr.Beast surpassed his record of over 111 million subscribers. He isn’t the most subscribed YouTuber, however. He is a mostly single-player show, but has managed to become very successful without having to employ a giant company of people. Nevertheless, he gained much popularity from his games and proved a key to the monetization of that audience and used a new technology to spread his popularity. He would eventually find himself taking on other types of content, a vlog, a reaction and more. PewDiePie has been making YouTube a famous 10th century, since his channel became a Call of Duty commentator before transitioning into let’s play games that essentially centered around horror games. PewDiePie was the most subscribed YouTuber. ![]()
